The June Tests get into full swing this weekend when Chris White blows proceedings between New Zealand and Ireland - the All Blacks with a lot to prove in their first game back after being knocked out in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals last year.

South Africa, who fared a bit better at the World Cup, will be out to keep their home record against Wales intact as the World Champions take on the Six Nations Champions in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Argentina then host Scotland in what will be a rematch of the quarter-final played in France last year.

Other internationals on the go are competitions such as the Pacific Nations Cup, the Churchill Cup and, in Wales, the inaugural World Junior Championship for U20 teams.

France keep the domestic side of rugby running as the penultimate round of the Top 14 approaches which could well decide who the fourth semi-finalist and the qualifiers for the Heineken Cup will be.
